In early 2025, a leading petrochemical producer in the United Arab Emirates awarded CASEN Cooling Technology the contract to supply and install a large-scale air cooler unit for their new gas-processing facility near Al Ruwais. The demanding desert environment—with high ambient temperatures, sand-laden winds, and strict uptime requirements—called for an air cooler solution that combined robust construction, superior thermal performance, and minimal maintenance.

CASEN designed a customized, module-style air cooler fabricated from carbon steel with a high-quality, weather-resistant coating. Key features include:
·High-Efficiency Finned Tubes
Our proprietary finned-tube bundles deliver exceptional heat transfer, keeping process temperatures within tight tolerances even in 50 °C+ ambient heat.
·Heavy-Duty Structural Frame
As seen in the project photos, the support structure is built from hot-dip galvanized steel sections, offering excellent corrosion protection in salty, sandy air. Wide access platforms and integrated ladders facilitate safe, speedy inspections and cleaning.
·Advanced Air Distribution
Each fan section is equipped with aerodynamic inlet cones and precision–balanced axial fans, ensuring uniform air flow across the bundle face and reducing energy consumption by up to 12% versus conventional designs.
·Modular Skid Design
The cooler was delivered in three pre-assembled skids sized to accommodate local transport regulations. On-site assembly—including piping tie-ins and electrical hook-ups—was completed within 10 days, minimizing plant shutdown time.
